More about the Sussex Disability Employment Directory

The Sussex Disability Employment Directory was developed with funding from the European Social Fund project Disability Equals Business (DEB) to assist employers in Sussex who employ disabled people or who have an employee who becomes disabled.


The Directory lists:

Organisations that support employers through the recruitment process, or provide ongoing support for disabled people while in work

Information about Jobcentre Plus services

Key county wide or national disability support services

Sources of advice and information on employment-related issues

Sources of training for employers on disability and disability awareness

Sources of information and advice about disability equipment

Useful contacts (county information providers on disability and employment issues involved in the production of the Directory)

There are many other services in Sussex, and nationally, that support people with disabilities, provide information and advice, offer training opportunities or supply equipment. The organisations listed in 'Useful contacts' can help you find out about other services that may be able to provide the support you need.
